Sharon Gordon George G. Soutar O.D., Q.C. was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 1973 after being called to the Bar in England the previous year. He has always been in private practice and was appointed a Queens Counsel in 2012 and is a Notary Public.  He is the current President of the Advocates’ Association of Jamaica and previously served as its Vice President. Mr. Soutar is also a member of the Jamaica Bar Association and the current chairman of the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica.

Ms. Saverna Carolyn Chambers is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School, admitted to practice in 1990 and practising primarily at the civil bar.
Vice President of the Advocates’ Association of Jamaica since 2005, Ms. Chambers’ love for service and country has led her to represent the association on a number of committees and serve on a number of boards including The Steering Committee of the Mediation Pilot on Social Conflict Legal Reform, Member of the Working Group Audio Visual Technology in Receipt of Child Evidence at the Ministry of Justice, The Rent Assessment Board, The Adoption Board, The1st Tribunal of Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Commission and the Disciplinary Committee of the Kingston & St. Andrew Football Association [KSAFA].  She has also been involved as a panelist and made presentations to a number of groups including the Bureau of Women’s Affairs.
Ms. Chambers continues to serve the profession by organising continuing legal education seminars hosted by the Advocates’ Association of Jamaica and is currently the Lecturer and Course Director of Civil practice and Procedure 1 (Family Law) at the Norman Manley Law School.

Michelle Clarke LLB. (Hons). A graduate of Holborn College of Law and the University of Wolverhampton, UK; also a graduate of the Norman Manley Law School. Ms. Clarke was called to the Bar in Jamaica in November 2004. She is currently the Secretary of the Advocates Association of Jamaica and also a member of the Jamaica Bar Association.

Sharon Gordon LLB. (Hons.) graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in June 1995, after having served as Assistant Clerk of Court to Clerk of Courts in various Resident Magistrate Courts from 1995 to 1998. Ms. Gordon was Crown Counsel at Office of the Director of Public Prosecution from 1998 – 2001 when she entered private practice. A past secretary of the Advocates Association, she is now a Senior Partner in the law firm Gordon & Watson.
 Melrose G. Reid 
Gladstone Wilson C.D. J.P. B.A. M.A. LLB. is a Barrister through Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the bar in Jamaica in 2003. He is in private practice and lectures students studying for their LLB from the University of London. Prior to going into law, he spent many years in radio broadcasting and was Manager of the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation and the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica. He currently hosts a current affairs radio programme and is convinced his experience in media has prepared him for the legal profession.
